Step One:
Allow one hour for the screening process when applying for office or administrative and up to two hours for industrial positions in order to complete the application process.
Please be sure to bring with you the following items:
- Addresses and telephone numbers of current and/or former employers, in addition to your most current resume, if you have one.
- Identification to complete an I-9 form. List of valid forms of identification.
Step Two:
You will be given various skill tests based on your experience, your training, and the type of work for which you are applying. If interested in general labor or manufacturing work, allow up to ten minutes for testing. If you are applying for office or administrative positions, allow up to ninety minutes for testing.
Step Three:
All applicants should allow twenty minutes for interviews.
After the Interview:
- References will be checked
- Criminal records will be checked
- Drug screening or additional testing may be required, depending on the assignment
Placement
Applicants who successfully complete all phases of the application process will be considered for employment. Positions will be offered to applicants based on information provided on the application, in the interview, and from references. Test scores will be considered only as they relate to specific positions.
Vacation Pay
You will earn 40 hours of paid time off after you have successfully completed 1,200 hours of work in the first twelve months following your hire date or succeeding anniversary date. The pay rate for paid time off is the same pay rate you are receiving for your current assignment.
Holiday Pay
You will receive a full day's pay for: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. You must work at least 1,000 hours in a one-year period and work the scheduled day before and after the holiday in order to be eligible.
